Tacombi is looking for Counter Servers to join our team at our newest location opening in Westbury!

We are hosting a FINAL Open Call to interview candidates:

- Tuesday, May 16th, from 10am to 3pm
- Thursday, May 18th, from 10am to 3pm

Front of House Team Member / Counter Server
Tacombi is seeking a team member who displays genuine hospitality. This team member provides guests with exceptional service by anticipating and fulfilling each guest’s needs. They can work in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multitask and work well with others.
As a Front of House Team Member, your responsibilities may be different each shift based on the station you are working. Every team member will rotate through our different stations/roles, which include:
- Cashier/Delivery Packer
- Dining Room Attendant

Your responsibilities will include:
For all Team Members:
- Offer every guest a friendly and sincere welcome; anticipate, be responsive and fulfill each guests’ needs; thank every guest and offer a fond farewell
- Embody the Tacombi Service Culture and ensure the Tacombi Experience is carried throughout all interactions with guests
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, professional appearance and demeanor to ensure guest satisfaction; ensure workstation and uniform are always clean
- Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies, Tacombi Brand values as well as the menu items and their presentation
- Observant to Guest needs throughout the dining experience to ensure they receive high-quality service
Cashier Station:
- Prepare station by setting up and stocking appropriately to ensure overall readiness before service adhering to Tacombi’s side-work checklist
- Always adhere to Tacombi safety policies, alcoholic beverage service rules, department of health guidelines, and Tacombi Mexican Hospitality points
- Guide guests through food and beverage selection by going through the menu and suggesting Tacombi favorites; be knowledgeable of our offerings and answer all food preparation questions whether in-person or over the phone.
- Keep Chef informed of any special dietary needs and special requests
- Reconcile cash drawer by providing cash and credit card transactions
Delivery Packer Station:
- Prepare the delivery station by setting tablets, prepping stations, and ensuring overall readiness before service adhering to Tacombi’s side work checklist.
- Collect and package every pick-up, delivery, catering food order, and handover to the delivery runner (third party company)
- Operate delivery tablets and ready each order carefully; keep kitchen staff informed of any special dietary needs and special requests
Dining Room Attendant Station:
- Prepare the dining room by setting tables and ensuring overall readiness before service adhering to Tacombi’s side-work checklist.
- Cleaning and resetting tables; remove visible debris from dining room and ensure overall cleanliness
- Follow bathroom cleaning rotation diligently and ensure that all areas guests access are clean and organized
- Assist with the bar opening and closing duties; ensure stock of glassware, liquor, ice, wine and beer

You should have:
- Flexible schedule and ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Minimum of 1-2 years of restaurant experience
- Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a rapidly changing and growing business
- Passionate about hospitality, culture, and food
- Genuine in your desire to help build bridges to Mexico, committing to authentically sharing the tradition and history of Mexico through great cuisine and hospitality.
