Creative Arts Therapy Supervisor
Job description
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:00PM
Supervises staff and ensures program guidelines are met. Plans, implements, coordinates, and evaluates activities and interventions for the development, maintenance and expression of appropriate social/psychological behaviors and leisure lifestyles of patients.
1. Supervises, hires, trains, disciplines and evaluates the performance of staff; ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner.
2. Coordinates the scheduling of patient services for Creative Arts Therapy.
3. Supervises creative arts therapy.
4. Provides an environment that fosters and enhances creativity, socialization, and promotes physical and mental health.
5. Participates in development of departmental policies and procedures.
6. Recommends and develops clinical programs consistent with the mission of the department.
7. Plans and provides educational creative arts activities; assists the patient in acquiring the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed for independent leisure and social activities; adjustment in community; decision-making ability, and appropriate use of free time.
8. Monitors and improves productivity of services to ensure quality of care.
9. Maintains Creative Arts department statistics.
10. Inspects equipment /supplies; identifies malfunctions and initiates repairs.
11. Prioritizes, schedules, assigns and monitors work to optimize operational service.
12. Participate on various committees to ensure patient/staff safety and quality patient care.
13. Coordinates student internships with affiliated schools and appropriate clinicians.
14. Performs related duties as required.

· Requires a Master's Degree in Creative Arts Therapy plus specialized certifications as needed
· Licensed Creative Arts Therapist
· Four (4) to six (6) years of relevant experience and 0-2 years of leadership/management experience, required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $66,220.00 - $108,180.00 per year
