*** Able to commute to Woonsocket, RI for monthly on-premises shoots preferred.

Description:

• The Contract Designer, Digital will primarily contribute to the concepting and execution of organic social media content. Opportunities may include contributing to ad campaigns for various projects across Brand and Marketing communications.

• Experience creating for social media channels and other digital media is a priority.

• Interest and expertise in video concepts, animation, photography, video editing and/or shooting user-generated-style video is preferred. Occasional deliverables may include TV/online video, paid social, email, and display.

• Communication and collaboration within the team is required. Appearing on-camera for discussions and brainstorms, comfortable delivering presentations, and offering ideas is expected.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Generate innovative creative ideas and executions that deliver and adhere to the brand vision and brand standards while ensuring consistency.

• Bring ideas and creative to life for owned social channels, from concept through production.

• Develop and maintain trusted partnerships with peers, internal business teams and external agencies.

• Successfully use skills and knowledge to create compelling themes, ideas and designs that are on brand, and meet or exceed business objectives.

• Apply experience in art direction for deliverables like organic video, static, and photo content and occasionally for paid social, TV/online video, email, and display.

• Presenting ideas and work to teammates, creative leadership, and marketing partners.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of working as a designer at an agency and/or corporate environment.

• Positive can-do attitude with ability to prioritize and execute on multiple deadlines.

• Proven track record as a designer, with a portfolio filled with examples of how their contributions assisted in the development of breakthrough creative.

• Ability to lead and generate impactful creative ideas and executions that deliver and adhere to the brand vision and brand standards while ensuring consistency.

• Ability to understand a marketing brief and translate the input into ideas.

• Demonstrate understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.

• Expertise in social: TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.

• Knowledge of digital and video production.

• Well organized and able to communicate ideas and develop strategies.

• Strong team player with enthusiasm, positive attitude, and the willingness to do what it takes to get the job done, which may include extended hours when necessary to meet deadlines.

• Technical skills include the Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and ability to learn new programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Video editing, animation skills, strong knowledge of sound and editing programs.

• Digital advertising or digital product experience.

• Strong presentation skills.

• Knowledge of print production.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Bachelors Degree preferred in Fine Arts, Communications, Design or similar, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
