Overview:
Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Credentialing Specialist II for the Revenue department at Atlantic Medical Group in Morristown, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- The Credentialing Specialist compiles and maintains physician credentials necessary to ensure initial credentialing enrollment and re-credentialing in Managed Care Plans, Medicare and Medicaid.
- Maintains confidentiality of provider information.
- Responsibilities include submission of managed care payer, Medicare and Medicaid applications and monitor/track applications through the payer credentialing process.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education:
- HS Diplompa
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum two year credentialing experience preferred.
- Highly Organized with excellent time management and problem solving skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize work and manage multiple priorities
- Must be self-motivated and work collaboratively as well as independently
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills -Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word skill required.
- Knowledge of payer credentialing enrollment process.
- Working knowledge of CAQH and Echo is preferred.
