Overview:
Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Credentialing Specialist II for the Revenue department at Atlantic Medical Group in Morristown, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • The Credentialing Specialist compiles and maintains physician credentials necessary to ensure initial credentialing enrollment and re-credentialing in Managed Care Plans, Medicare and Medicaid.
  • Maintains confidentiality of provider information.
  • Responsibilities include submission of managed care payer, Medicare and Medicaid applications and monitor/track applications through the payer credentialing process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
  • HS Diplompa
Minimum Experience:
  • Minimum two year credentialing experience preferred.
  • Highly Organized with excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize work and manage multiple priorities
  • Must be self-motivated and work collaboratively as well as independently
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills -Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word skill required.
  • Knowledge of payer credentialing enrollment process.
  • Working knowledge of CAQH and Echo is preferred.
