Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Manager of the Medical Staff Office this position coordinates the appointment/credentialing and recredentialing process for all Medical Staff and Allied Staff consistent with the Medical Staff Bylaws and in compliance with TJC standards. Responsible for maintaining Medical Staff and Allied Health Staff information in existing systems; as well as providing information to requesting departments, hospitals, and agencies. Plans, coordinates and performs administrative activities for the medical staff meetings, special affairs, and assists the manager and committee chairs with fulfilling required functions.

Qualifications:
Required Education:
Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent in related field; Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in related field.
Required Experience:
Three years of experience with medical staff credentialing processes.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
Certification as a Medical Staff Coordinator or Provider Credentialing Specialist is preferred.
