What this role is all about:
We are looking for a Credit & Collection Manager in Appleton, WI.
- Review, on an ongoing basis, accounts receivable open balances for collection efforts and customer credit solvency and establish the line of credit with payment terms.
- Notify customers of their delinquent accounts and negotiate to obtain the most of the past due and reduce losses.
- Review upcoming shipments related to the customer’s credit situation, determining and communicating what actions must be completed to have the order shipped.
- Advise and arrange for debt repayment and/or establish a repayment schedule for delinquent customer’s accounts due to insolvency of customer and avoid at all time credit risk. Close accounts for ex-customers that will no longer have orders due to their delinquent payments.
- Produce Month-end reports for Corporate (Credit highlights, bad debt allowances, open orders, sales report for customer with credit insurance).
- Generate various reports as requested, which include but is not limited to reports for sales staff, open QIF issues, open orders, credit checks, etc.
What you need:
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in receivable collections required.
- Experience in general accounting including thorough skills knowledge plus the application of general accounting theories required.
- Experience ERP software system(s) for financial modules required.
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

- Agropur’s US operations produce approximately 1 billion pounds of quality, award winning cheese each year. The US operations produce more than 20 different cheese varieties along with whey protein and dry ingredients.
