Job Description/Position Overview:
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Summary:
Researches, prepares and reconciles data in support of the preparation of financial statements and reports. Supports analysis, documentation, and mitigation of compliance risk/errors. Analyzes and interprets directives, policies and regulatory requirements to provide recommendations on new and existing accounting issues. Supports the allocation and maintenance of the cost accounting structure/system, tools and related realignment activities. Supports the development and deployment of changes to accounting tools and processes.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • This role is the Credit Card Administrator, and responsible for the review and processing of new cards for employees globally. Coordinate and act as the Administrator with banks.
  • Monitor the internal desk tickets for both the Corporate Card program and Concur to support any issues/questions that employees may have. This includes providing training to the employee where needed as well as trouble shooting any problems they may be experiencing.
  • Support as a primary Master Data gatekeeper for the Concur Travel & Expense application to ensure that the feed of profiles into Concur is correct.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements related to expense report and credit card spend. Run reports and provide the data as requested.
  • Act as liaison between SAP Concur and the company to address any change in the setup, module addition, system integration.
  • Oversee workflows in the expense authorization process.
  • Ensure the Boeing Travel Policy is enforced. Supports other functional teams in the update and release of the policy.
  • Prepares analysis of accounts; for month-end reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
  • 2-4 years of related work experience
  • Experience in lieu of education General Accounting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy
  • Knowledge of Finance with an emphasis in Accounts Payable with a basic knowledge of Procurement
  • Knowledge of Travel & Expense policies and procedures, and additional education
  • Identify root cause for issues and implement appropriate solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
  • Ability communicate effectively both verbally and written
  • Working knowledge of Concur Travel, SAP or other ERP systems, banking credit card system or ability to learn. Training will be provided.
  • Ability to partner with groups and cross functionally to meet or exceed department’s goals

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree – Accounting/Finance or related field of study, preferred
  • 4-6 years relevant work experience (preferred)
  • Experience in related industry (aerospace, preferred)
  • Public Accounting Experience/Public Company Experience (preferred)
