Critical Care Transport RN - San Leandro/San Francisco Bay Area
Our EMS Division is currently scheduling interviews for a full-time Mobile Intensive Care Transport Nurse, the service area is in and around San Leandro San Franciso Bay area. Applicants must be an RN with recent ER or ICU experience. As a critical care transport nurse, you will be responsible for providing care to critically ill and injured patients on an ambulance during inter-facility transports. You will work alongside two other EMS personnel. Our crews are dedicated to providing the highest level of care to all patients in a safe, mobile environment.
This is a Full-time 4/10s position and every other weekend is required.
Days start 0500/0700, Mid-Days start 1000, 1100 or 1200 and nights start 2100/2200.
Full benefits, and includes a shift differential. Pay up to $172K range depending on experience and certifications.
Primary Functions:
- Provide comprehensive, effective, and safe care to patients during transport.
- Maintain clinical skill proficiency and knowledge base.
- Complete required documentation.
- Maintain positive communication while interfacing with fellow employees, hospital staff, and the community.
- Stock and clean medical equipment.
- Perform independently within established policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
- Work collaboratively with other EMS personnel.
Requirements:
- Must demonstrate a compassionate attitude towards all patients and family members.
- Must portray a positive company image.
- Must possess current state Registered Nurse License.
- Must have one year of experience as an RN in a critical care setting (CCU, ICU, ER, CCT).
- Must have current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS.
