St. Catherine University’s Admission team invites applications for a CRM Specialist position.
The CRM specialist manages and develops the Admission CRM, Slate, and ongoing expansion to assist the university in reaching enrollment goals. This position supports the day-to-day system operations and ensures that the systems are accessible for use by people from a variety of cultures, backgrounds and abilities. This position is eligible for remote work arrangements.
System operations responsibilities include:
The CRM specialist manages and develops the Admission CRM, Slate, and ongoing expansion to assist the university in reaching enrollment goals. This position supports the day-to-day system operations and ensures that the systems are accessible for use by people from a variety of cultures, backgrounds and abilities. This position is eligible for remote work arrangements.
System operations responsibilities include:
- Building workflows, building and maintaining forms
- Creating populations and queries
- Managing users, fields and record types
- Testing new functionality delivered by Slate as well as regular updates to maintain system functionality and operations
- Assessing and resolving CRM-related concerns raised by admission personnel by assisting with system troubleshooting, system maintenance, and technical collaborations with IT colleagues outside of the Office of Admissions
Other responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support with the set-up and maintenance of relationship management functions in Slate, including communications (Deliver) and event management.
- Performing appropriate audits of communications and campaigns to ensure the respective communications are reaching the target audience as scheduled.
- Providing data analytics on the deliverability and effectiveness of communications to Enrollment Management team.
- Creating and maintaining documentation on processes, policies and procedures as the Slate CRM platform is developed and expanded.
- Creating and delivering end-user training and develop ongoing assessment to ensure consistent use of system tools.
- Providing functional support to CRM users with varying levels of skills.
- Establishing processes and protocols for maximum efficiency in the use of Slate.
- Creating a collaborative and supportive environment that ensures employees of all cultures and abilities can operate effectively and efficiently with the Slate tool.

Minimum Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience working with Slate and or other admission CRM platforms.
- Understanding of the student application lifecycle and corresponding data, procedures, and integrations that ensure accessibility of the system to all applicants.
- Demonstrated analytical, reasoning and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Three (3) years of experience Slate as a super-user and/or functional lead
- Two (2) years of experience Banner/Argos, Docfinity and Hyland Data Transfer (Nolij) or similar software systems
- Experience in the implementation of software functions to improve the end user experience.
- Experience serving the needs of 1st generation, BIPOC and international students through the application process
