Job description

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain buildings and grounds.
• Carry out all tasks as required by the organization.
• Be able to work outside all day, every day.
• Maintain a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop
• Dust and Sanitize counters and shelves
• Clean restrooms
• Clean out trashes inside and pick up any trash outside
• Mop Church Gym
• Clean Church Kitchen
• Set up for events; chairs, tables, tablecloths, etc.
• Dust various rooms of the Church
• Refill Candles with lighter oil in the Sanctuary
• Set up Sunday service bulletin
• Hang up banners and signs
• Prepare Coffee on Sundays
• Assist other custodians with their tasks

Requirements:

• Must have a warm and friendly demeanor
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to withstand outdoor heat
• Must be organized
• Must be a team player
• Someone who takes initiative
• Must be honest and compassionate
