Location: Delaware, OH
Shift: Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 6:00pm, may have to work an occasional Saturday
FLSA: Nonexempt
The custodial supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of two workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises of commercial contract sites. The supervisor is also responsible for floorcare of the site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Schedule staff and assure adequate coverage for site duties

Follow the daily job routine in the order it is outlined.

Use the correct step by step procedure for each cleaning task.

Follow manufacturer's recommendations for use of all cleaning solutions and equipment.

Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment.

Assigns tasks to workers and inspects completed work for conformance to standards.

Maintain, order and issue supplies and equipment including inventory of needed supplies.

Maintain all equipment, supplies, or supply rooms in and orderly fashion.

Resolves workers' problems or refers matters to Area Manager.

Submits requests for repair of equipment to Area Manager.

Assist in performing duties of workers supervised.

Ensure a level of cleanliness which meets the quality expectations of the customer.

Always interact with fellow employees and public caretaker in a courteous and friendly manner.

Contributes information for employees' annual reviews as requested.

Performs and completes payroll as required

Must have some floorcare experience. Must be able to run a T3 machine high and low speed buffer.

Must have previous custodial experience. Supervisory experience is preferred.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two years related experience and/or training preferred.

Must be able to pass background checks as required by site.

Must have strong communication skills to coordinate customer needs and expectations and supervise staff.
