Intermediate District 287 is looking for Custodial Workers like you for openings throughout the district!

Custodial Workers are responsible for performing custodial tasks involving building and equipment maintenance (operational and remedial) as well as cleaning and providing general maintenance of District buildings.

• Work Schedule: (1.0 FTE) M-F 1:00pm - 9:30pm
• Location: Minnetonka, MN
• But May work in various locations including the following school sites:
• Ann Bremer Education Center - Brooklyn Park, MN
• North Education Center - New Hope, MN
• West Education Center - Minnetonka, MN
• South Education Center - Richfield, MN
• District Service Center - Plymouth, MN

Salary & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $18.50 - $19.74 (External Candidates)

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of semi-skilled mechanical and facilities maintenance experience and a demonstrated ability to assume responsibility for a clean and orderly building in compliance with standards and regulations
• Must have adequate physical strength, stamina, physical agility and visual and auditory acuity and must maintain such physical fitness as to be able to perform the duties of the class. A pre-employment physical examination is required.
• Incumbents in this class are required to possess a current Minnesota Motor Vehicle Class D Operator License.

Incumbents in this class may be required to lift moderate to heavy weights and may be exposed to significant levels of dust, heat, noise, extreme weather conditions and risk of injury from equipment and assaultive and/or abusive students.
