Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for collection and application of funds to retail accounts and deduction management. Builds relationships with customers, field sales, management, and customer care.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage daily transactional activity including invoicing, claims, chargeback, and returns for our primary Retail customer accounts.
• Work with cash application on regular posting of payments and processing of extensive remittance data.
• Navigating through Retail customer sponsored websites, for dispute submission, EDI invoice activity, and other available reports for analysis and follow up.
• Maintain business relationship with internal customers, including Sales, Customer Care and Finance, to understand customer requirements and resolves issues.
• Validate legitimacy of deductions and initiate charge-backs where appropriate.
• Timely and accurate processing of credit requests received from field sales.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with cross-functional business teams.
• Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customers.
• Demonstrated successful ability to input data with a high accuracy rating, and strong attention to detail.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
• Prior ERP experience (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards)
