Current Need
The eCommerce Customer Insights Manager supports our sales team to drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities for online retailers with product in the McKesson retail catalog. This individual will leverage data analysis and insights to make business decisions and drive growth. They will partner heavily with our B2B2C Sales Team, Merchandising Team, and Manufacturer Strategy Analysts to inform product growth and category strategy from a customer perspective. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Manufacturer Strategy in Consumer Markets.

Key Responsibilities
- As a Customer Insights Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in the success of our digital merchandising and pricing strategy.
- This role will be responsible for continuously analyzing eCommerce and product data, providing actionable insights, recommendations, and leading the implementation of product opportunities for our sales team.
- Work closely with other departments within our Consumer team to transform data into product insights and assortment recommendations through use of analytics and visualization.
- Create and maintain a retail assortment dashboard that is scalable with reporting.
- Identify trends, deficiencies, and opportunities across channels and throughout the customer journey.
- Model and size new business, market, product, and channel opportunities and develop KPIs to track performance of new initiatives.
- Surface new opportunities for profitable customer acquisition and retention.
Minimum Requirements:
4-year degree in Finance, Marketing, Analytics, Business or related field or equivalent experience
Critical Skills
- 2-5 years of experience as a business analyst in a financial planning, business intelligence, market analysis, strategy, consulting, or similar role.
- Very strong Excel competency with the ability to model and use Excel database queries preferred.
- Business planning and financial tracking; exceptional written executive communication skills.
- Comfortable working with large volumes of customer data and hands-on expertise in data modeling, reporting and dashboard design.
- Skilled communicator and presenter; comfortable presenting to multiple levels of the organization and voicing opinions to provide business recommendations.
Additional Skills
- Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple work streams in parallel, plan for projects, manage own time and priorities.
- Basic understanding of SQL as well as knowledge of data visualization tools such as Looker, Periscope, Tableau.
- Experience with advanced analytics, statistics, and modeling preferred.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional matrixed organization.
- Experience in the eCommerce and/or healthcare industry
- Knowledge of and experience in building attribute structures, data normalization, product taxonomy, and managing products across varied structures.
- Knowledge of other eCommerce retail platforms, including one or more of: Channel Advisor, Shopify, BigCommerce, Syndigo, Salsify and Informatica
