Do you want to work in a fun and beautiful recreational environment? Are you someone that enjoys working with people or in hospitality? We are a family health and fitness club called Bay-O-Vista Swimming and Tennis Club in San Leandro. We are looking for a Front Desk attendant to provide excellent customer service to our members and join our team in the hospitality and recreation industry. We have flexible shifts, including am,pm and weekends shifts. This is a great P/T Job for anyone.

Duties Include-

  • Monitor and checking in members and guests before entry
  • collect fees, write up incident/injury reports, and enforce rules and regulations
  • Process sales and sign ups
  • Give tours, accept registration for classes and events.
  • Keep supplies stocked, make coffee, take membership payments and provide excellent customer service and Club information.
  • Monitor gym activity and enforce rules
  • Clean and organize desk and lobby areas
  • Hand out / document rental of recreation equipment, and towels.
  • Be responsible for security and safety for self and others.
  • Complete work assigned by the Manager.
  • Cover shifts in Kids Club Dept. when needed

Ideal applicants must have strong work ethic, good attendance/punctuality, and have experience working with the public.

We are searching for experienced individuals with the following experience in these office duties:

  • Filing and organizational skills
  • Receptionist and cashiering
  • Customer service and sales
  • Microsoft Office-word and outlook to check email.

  • follow instructions as given by supervisors, and pay attention to detail.

Ability to read and communicate clearly, understand and interpret written instructions in English.

----Our Company Dress Code includes a uniform shirt and sweatshirt which is provided by the club.

----This position is available to begin training a.s.a.p.

----We are open 7days a week 360 days a year. Must be available to work between the following hours of operation which may include evenings and weekends.

Club is Open 6am to 9:30pm
