Job Description

Primary Function: Cycle count materials for accuracy, ensuring inventory integrity. This is a 1st Shift position, located in Searcy, Arkansas.

Job Responsibilities

Duties:

  • Complete daily cycle counts as designated by Danfoss Requirements
  • Perform data-entry accurately into Danfoss ERP system
  • Investigate root cause of discrepancies
  • Investigate ICA (Inventory Count Adjustment) requests received and resolve by making the proper transactions in ERP
  • Perform material handling duties as necessary (moving/taking down pallets, etc)
  • Safe operation of forklift
  • Maintain accurate paperwork, auditing for correct part numbers and quantities by location
  • Ability to understand complex work in process (WIP) when evaluating part accuracy
  • Perform tasks in a manner meeting the Danfoss Safety requirements
  • Assist in Continuous Improvement Efforts to meet Plant goals
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor

Background & Skills

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 12 months inventory control related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer data entry and familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • High degree of analytical ability
  • Ability to perform work efficiently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to interact positively with other employees in team oriented environment
  • Ability to complete and pass fork-lift training courses
  • Satisfactory record of recent job performance(s)
  • Ability to stand on hard surfaces throughout most of day, with some lifting required (up to 40 pounds)
  • Ability to communicate findings and possible root causes effectively
