Your New Role
Are you a driven, self-sufficient process and data driven individual eager to support a large team of product designers? Do you possess strong problem-solving skills?
Reporting into the Production Manager, you will sit as part of the Information System family who are dedicated to supporting business strategy through effective design, capture, availability, interrogation, maintenance and improvement of Survitec data.
You as our new Data Administrator will provide coordination support for the definition, creation, allocation and management of functional master data set. You will be deployed to support a functional business area, where it will focus on developing and installing the processes to monitor and manage data integrity, organising general and administrative access to data and freezing data when change to the system is required. ensuring all data users are educated in their responsibilities towards maintaining data quality and the processes they must follow to preserve and continue to improve data quality.
What You Can Expect from the Role
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
- You will maintain an in-depth understanding of functional Survitec data held in multiple ERP systems, their functionality and acceptable uses
- Create the functional master data structure; register functional data into Survitec ERP system(s) in accordance with that structure; coordinate inputs from a range of core users and ensures consistent principles are applied in all systems and by all core users when creating master data entries
- Ensure timely updates to core data, to ensure data accuracy for business purposes and reporting
- Provide support and advice to data users, equipping them to get the most out of available data and the data management systems, including support and preparation for supplier reviews
- Work collaboratively to understand and resolve technical or training issues that may affect the quality or availability of up-to-date functional data in the ERP systems
- Monitor the quality and integrity of ERP data to identify common errors, training or performance themes, using these as the basis for communication and advice to core system users to improve data management
- Contribute to reviewing existing master data quality, generating new ideas in support of driving continuous improvement in data quality and / or availability
- Contribute to data cleansing activity in support of ERP systems updates and/or migrations
- Plan, coordinate and run scheduled jobs for maintenance of the functional data set, reporting findings and generating recommendations for improvement

The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have
Essential Criteria
- Educated to University degree level
- 1+ years job related experience
- Experience in processing high volumes of data
- Proficient user of Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on own as well as part of a team
