Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Vice President of Behavioral Health and the Administrator of Cancer Services and Radiology the data analyst is responsible for organizing and managing large and varied data sets, analyzing healthcare data to optimize business operations and communicating findings through the use of data visualization and detailed reports.

Responsibilities: Healthcare Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, and equivalent years of work experience required

• Design reports and dashboards for use by program managers and the executive team to inform decision making.
• Analyze program data and prepares data trend reports drawing from multiple sources including quality, financial and patient experience.
• Develop and analyze systems to obtain information or statistics vital to program success and operations.
• Partner with Director of Behavioral Health Network Development and Vice President of Behavioral Health to identify business needs and provide solutions for solving specific problems leveraging internal and/or external data and analytical techniques;
• Responsible for successful implementation of various standardized processes (e.g. reporting), paying close attention to data quality.

EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Analytics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Healthcare Management, and equivalent years of work experience required
• Minimum two experience with healthcare analysis, familiarity manipulating large healthcare datasets across different applications, managing relational databases required.
• Demonstrate experience in data mining, analysis, system implementation and reporting, required; able to identify anomalies, trends, inconsistencies and make recommendations to improve processes, workflow and operations
• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word, Outlook) PowerPoint required, Visio and Microsoft
