Buyers Edge Platform ("BEP") was born out of the 20-year growth and success of its founding companies Dining Alliance, Buyers Edge and Consolidated Concepts. BEP is a technology enabled group purchasing network, which provides group purchasing services, SaaS based technology solutions, and supply chain consulting and procurement related services to foodservice operators across many verticals, including restaurants (independents as well as multiunit, chains and franchise concepts), hospitality (hotels, casinos, resorts), healthcare (LTC based operators), colleges & universities and array of other foodservice based operators (food trucks, caterers, amusement parks and other leisure based operators). We are a growing company which performs unique analysis of purchase data. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Data Analyst Contract Exclusions to become an essential part of our team. The right person will welcome challenges, thrive in a small team environment, and be eager to learn new skills.

This role will ideally be located near our New London, CT office, but can also be remote. We are unable to provide sponsorship for work authorization for this role.

The Data Analyst - Contract Exclusions position will be responsible for, but not limited to,

• Creating and maintaining accurate contract exclusion records utilizing Salesforce.com from various sources.
• Facilitating the exchange of exclusion records to internal and external parties.
• Ensuring proper exclusion record alignment with external parties.

The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of the foodservice industry, preferably related to contracts and pricing. The candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills. An aptitude for problem solving and the ability to come up with creative solutions is necessary. Over time, this employee would be able to work autonomously to handle large projects along with the daily workflow and thus, must be capable of using planning and time management skills to meet deadlines.

Other duties

• Field questions internally and externally regarding exclusion records.
• Perform periodic quality assurance reviews.

Required Skills

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Nested If Statements, PivotTables, XLookups, etc.
• Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving

Experience and Education Requirements

• College degree preferred
• 1-3 years' experience working with large data sets including gathering, interpreting, and disseminating information.
• Experience working within Salesforce.com or similar CRM
• Business Intelligence Software experience a plus
