Corteva Agriscience™ is seeking a Data Engineer within our North American Commercial Unit.

Help us grow what matters! Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with analytics, data science, marketing, and sales teams
• Developing efficient data pipelines and infrastructure that power insightful data products, dashboards, and analysis
• Work closely with various stakeholders to understand their needs,
• Create and maintain data sets,
• Provide custom reporting solutions, enabling end users to focus on analytic processing and driving business growth

Qualifications

What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?

• B.S. degree in Computer Science/ Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. M.S. preferred.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree in a related field
• Strong proficiency with SQL, Python, and PySpark
• Experience working with cloud computing technologies for working with big data (Azure is preferred) including hands-on experience working with Databricks and Azure Data Factory
• Exceptional communication skills
• Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaboration.
• Experience working in an Agile environment, with knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in using containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with automation tools and processes for streamlining development, testing, and deployment workflows.
• Knowledge of MLOps best practices, including deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of machine learning models.
• Ability to develop dashboards and data visualizations in Power BI or similar tools.
• Basic understanding of data science concepts, techniques, and tools, such as machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data preprocessing.
