DATA SPECIALIST | FOUR DAY WORKWEEK | HIRING UP TO $43,332

What will you be doing?

As our Data Specialist (Data Care Specialist) you will be the primary point of contact for all Volunteer Systems, including but not limited to Salesforce, which helps drive membership growth and operational efficiencies. Every day, you will enter program, membership and customer data into our systems, and resolve issues raised by customers, members and colleagues. You will also research, track, resolve and correct data issues and errors using Salesforce and Microsoft Excel. Every week, you will review and assign proper financial codes to financial assistance orders and submit unresolved problems to vendors for support. At least monthly, you will run data quality reports, analyze challenges and identify gaps in business processes, and compile and report on metrics and trends. You will also collaborate with business process owners to regularly update and maintain the Council's Volunteer Systems-related processes, procedures and best practices, and will be expected to provide training and technical assistance tools that support these items. To thrive in this role, you must have knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn the Salesforce system, excellent conflict resolution, training and customer service skills; and the ability to process large volumes of data quickly and accurately.

This position reports to the Director of Member Experience and is part of a four-person team that includes the Director of Member Experience, a Senior Customer Care Coordinator, and a part-time Customer Care Coordinator.

  • A tech-savvy candidate who is comfortable working at an organization that is transitioning to a paperless environment.
  • A Data Specialist who has the ability to work independently within a collaborative environment.

What else will you need?

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Preference for degrees or coursework in a related field (e.g. information technology).
  • Minimum of three years recent, relevant experience required.
  • Salesforce experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with ecommerce and events software programs preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

What will you get?

The hiring range for this position is $39,604 - $43,332.

This is a non-exempt, in-based, Data Specialist position located in our Lake Worth Headquarters. Office hours for our four-day workweek are Monday- Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. with a half hour lunch; occasional evening and weekend hours may be needed during certain times of the year and advance notice is generally provided.
