Job description
The Dean of K-12 Partnerships will be the lead OCCC contact for K-12 partners and supervise the K-12 Partnerships team. The Dean will work in conjunction with the Academic Affairs and Student Affairs Divisions.
This position will actively work with K-12 administrators and counselors to determine needed concurrent courses and modalities at each school site as part of the Early College and Concurrent Enrollment efforts.

Minimum Education/Experience

Master’s Degree in an education-related field
5-7 years’ work experience in higher education
Three (3) years’ work experience at a community college
Experience managing a departmental budget
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of college programs of study
Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with students, K-12 partners, and OCCC staff ·
Knowledge of OCCC admissions requirements
Knowledge of concurrent enrollment requirements ·
Knowledge of dual enrollment procedures and OSRHE-related policies
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with students, K-12 partners, and OCCC staff ·

The person in this position may occasionally exert up to 25 pounds of force to grasp, lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

This position requires the person to frequently communicate with and listen to students, faculty, staff, and others to perform the essential functions of the position. Must be able to exchange accurate information in various situations.
This position requires travel to our K-12 school and Career-Tech partner sites
