Pay Rate: $15.55 HR./
Schedule: Monday – Friday 5:30AM – 5:00PM + 2 Saturdays a month
Location: Metcalf, GA
We are hiring for a Deck Operator at a sawmill located outside of Thomasville that is a wood manufacturer and distribution facility. For this position, you must able to work 12 hour shifts and work in a timely manner.
Responsibilities

• Fix cross ups that occur as logs or lumber travel on decks and/or chains throughout the mill
• Other job duties as assigned by Supervisors

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous sawmill experience preferred

Requirements

• Ability to work 12 hours shifts
• Lift up to 50lbs
• Stand on feet majority of the shift
• Clean Criminal Background Check
• Work well in a non-climate controlled environment
