Role Summary:

A reliable Delivery Driver who is skilled in fostering an environment of excellence and creating Raving Fans by executing all tenets of Second Mile Service (2MS), Operational Excellence (OE) and Creating Emotional Connections (EC). The Delivery Driver will transport orders in a safe, timely manner while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct guest.

General Responsibilities:

Be polite and prompt.

Provide guests with excellent delivery experiences.

Consistently ensure orders are properly filled.

Consistently ensure you are abiding by restaurant and road rules.

Transport and deliver items to guests or businesses in a safe and timely manner.

Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete.

Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from guests.

Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.

Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.

Read, understand, and comply with all parts of the Team Member Handbook

Protect the customer experience by delivering portions of food that are correct and meet all weight and presentation expectations.

Appropriately handle all customer issues and play a positive role in customer recovery.

Show up on time, have a great attitude and work hard for your entire shift.

Be responsible to fill your shift if you are not able to work.

Ensure your appearance is in compliance with the Handbook

Display good stewardship and a sense of ownership for the business

Understand all tenets of Second Mile Service (2MS), Operational Excellence (OE) and Creating Emotional Connections (EC).

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license issued by the state of Louisiana

Clean driving record.

Experience may be required or preferred.

Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.

Strong time management and customer service skills

REQUIREMENTS

• Clean driving record with a valid Louisiana drivers license
• Must be at least 18
• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required.
• Works in hot, noisy face paced environment
• Must be able to respond to changes or edits to orders quickly.

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day.
