Three River Farmers Alliance is seeking a motivated individual to play a key role in our delivery driver team.

Founded in 2014, Three River Farmers Alliance (3RFA) is a farmer-owned aggregate food hub in the Seacoast, NH region that brings locally sourced food to homes, restaurants, and regional institutions. In 2020, we launched our home delivery program, Veggie-GO, providing fresh, regionally sourced food to households in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts.

Our Mission is to develop relationships between local farms, customers, and businesses with a vision to create healthier communities and expand economic opportunities for local regional farmers and producers.

3RFA facilitates the aggregation, storage, transportation, and marketing of regionally produced food products. We actively coordinate these activities providing wider access to institutional and retail markets for local producers, and increase access of fresh, healthy food for consumers, including underserved areas.

Our ideal candidate has a strong interest in local food networks and agriculture, has excellent communication and problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Applicants must be a non-aggressive driver and team oriented with a keen attention to detail and a natural sense of hospitality.

Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities include delivering a wide variety of products to homes and businesses following route and time schedules, packaged order expediting and confirmation, vehicle loading, unloading, preparation, inspection, and operation, and daily reporting of vehicle and route details.

Requirements:

-Possession of a valid driver’s license, a driving record free of serious infractions in the last three years, and ability to obtain a DOT health card

-Compliance with all DOT regulations and safety standards

-Ability to drive a variety of refrigerated delivery vehicles including but not limited to vans and 16 foot box trucks

-Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, push, pull and walk on uneven surfaces, climb stairs both inside and outside, lift 60 lbs. and work in an environment which may be loud, slick, humid, hot, or cold

-Maintain communication with supervisor on any issues, their development and foreseeable concerns

-Maintaining high standards for an organized, safe, clean, and otherwise pristine workplace in accordance with daily cleaning lists, company protocols mitigating contact of COVID-19, and company food safety requirements for safe food handling

-Strong work ethic, a results-driven, team-oriented, positive attitude and enthusiasm for involvement in company growth and direction

-Key attributes include punctuality, excellent organizational, problem solving and time management skills, a sense of urgency for the task at hand and proper personal hygiene

-Schedule flexibility to meet distribution goals

-Professional conduct that reflects a position of ambassador of the company while prioritizing the customer experience representing Three River Farmers Alliance in a positive manner

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift

• No nights

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Fremont, NH: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
