Job description

As a member of our team, you will safely and efficiently move and track all inbound, outbound, and stored products within the warehouse and during the delivery process. This includes performing a variety of tasks such as; receiving, stocking, pulling, packing, and delivering products to ensure that we are providing our customers with exceptional service and quality.

Position Responsibilities:

• Receiving all inbound merchandise and filling proper stock location.
• Maintaining a high level of attention to detail
• Committing to safe work
• Ensuring that all areas including, but not limited to; racking, floors, vehicles, and other areas as assigned are neat, orderly, and free of debris.
• Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Pulling orders (by paper) according to delivery route.
• Packing products securely in cartons for both delivery and shipping.
• Inspecting vehicle and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
• Making deliveries to customers in a friendly manner while obtaining proper signatures
• Maintaining contact with supervisor and office to receive delivery and pick up instructions.
• Assist in loading and unloading where needed.
• Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and/or 1 to 3 years of related experience.
• Clean Driving Record
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work reliably from verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to apply general math skills.
• Flexibility to work extended hours as needed is preferred.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Physical ability to lift, unload, and carry up to 30 lbs. repetitively and up to 60 lbs. occasionally, push up to 50 lbs., and move a pallet jack loaded with up to 2,000 lbs.
• Physical ability to handle objects, tools, and/or controls.
• Physical ability to stand and walk frequently, and be able to drive for a significant period of time.
• Physical ability to occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, or crawl.
• May require the ability to operate and/or be certified on various powered equipment.
• Physical ability to maneuver loaded hand carts over a variety of inclines and surfaces.
• Exposure to a variety of environmental conditions: weather, temperature, lighting, and noise as determined by circumstances at accounts within and within the warehouse environment.
