Job description

Summary: This is a merchandiser/delivery position for a growing company. Delivery Driver is responsible for driving in company vehicle on an established route. Driver will deliver and stock merchandise in grocery, convenience and hardware stores. Must have excellent customer service skills. An individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below.

· Lift up to 30 lbs. on consistent basis. Load and unload van for multi-stop deliveries.

· Accurately record delivery information on company forms.

· Responsible for the proper documentation and disposition for any return product.

· Communicate delivery- customer issues to proper authority (i.e., Route Salesperson or Office).

· Unload product safely and deliver to customer in designated space.

· Check invoice for complete delivery.

· Process paperwork and damaged merchandise if any.

· Collect payments if necessary.

· Other duties as assigned.

· Must be able to communicate well with customers.

· Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements: This work requires the following physical activities: climbing, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 30 lbs. of material on consistent basis, repetitive motions.
