Texas Plumbing Supply was established in 1962 and is a well-respected wholesale distributor for many name brand plumbing products. We are a growing, family owned business with six locations in Texas, and are looking for dedicated individuals who are seeking a great opportunity working in a fast paced environment. This job posting is for our Schertz location.
Responsibilities
-Load and verify orders scheduled for delivery
-Ensure the products are safely loaded and secured for delivery to our customer
-Drive and operate our vehicle safely and in compliance with company rules and applicable laws
-Unload products at customer's business or job-sites with a smile
-Assist in the loading of truck in pipe yard and unloading truck at point of delivery
-Inspect truck daily to determine safe operating condition
-Notify supervisor of any problems
-Pick and assemble orders for delivery or pickup
-Receive, count and verify incoming shipments
-Keep a clean and safe working environment
-Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
-Safely operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
Requirements
-We are obsessed with providing outstanding customer service and expect you to be as well
-If you can't show up for work on time, every time then this job is not right for you
-Familiar with driving larger trucks including box vans and flat beds (non-CDL 26ft)
-Must be at least 21 years old
-Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
-Good organizational and time management skills
-Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 80 lbs.)
-Proven work experience in a fast paced environment
-Good communication skills, passionate customer service focus
-Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and equipment
-High school degree
