About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Delivery Lead (Senior Lead Project Manager) to join the growing Human Resources (HR) Products & Transformation Team. This team is responsible for driving digital transformation across Human Resources and delivering and maturing HR product capabilities through agile practices, process automation and enhancements.

The Delivery Lead is a key position within the HR Products & Transformation Team providing leadership and driving execution delivery of both technical and non-technical initiatives. This role will report to the HR Delivery Manager (Senior Manager). This position may support HR and enterprise programs or any of the following HR products:
  • HR Core Services: Global Payroll, Time, Absence and Service Management through ServiceNow
  • Talent Acquisition
  • Talent Management and Learning & Development
  • Total Rewards: Compensation (Executive, Incentive, Advanced, etc.) and Benefits
  • Employee Life Cycle (Onboarding, Offboarding, etc.) and Employee Relations
  • HR Data, Analytics & Reporting Services
This role will work on large transformational change initiatives across HR and will work with internal and external partners to define, sequence, and implement program/product work and drive stakeholder accountability to ensure the business outcome.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual that can think strategically and deliver tactically against valued business outcomes. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrix organization to deliver continuously against both ambiguous and structured opportunities.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead delivery of solutions for HR change initiatives that are long-term, large scale and require planning and progression, financial management, status reporting, effective communication, and ongoing risk assessment
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are companywide to support operations using organizational, strategical, institutional knowledge and navigation to anticipate change impacts
  • Partner with key HR and business stakeholders to increase transparency of progress against business outcomes delivery, prioritization decisions, and issue escalation through open communication and support of governance and stakeholder routines
  • Ensure delivery of change initiatives in accordance with enterprise governance and policies (Enterprise Change Management, Systems Development Lifecycle, Control, Independent Risk Management, etc.)
  • Work cross-functionally to develop roadmaps and plans that enable collective readiness, coordination activation and seamless user experience, partnering closely with Product, Process and Change Management teams
  • Identify key dependencies and requirements needed from other product teams, cross-functional teams, and partners to ensure business outcomes are achieved
  • Establish governance structure that includes process to report out and manage risks at various levels of the organization
  • Manage and facilitate meetings, record actions & decisions, raise roadblocks, risks, and opportunities; identify, gather, and document requirements
  • Track alignment of the financials (cost & benefits) against the business case and delivery outcomes, partnering closely with Finance
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership team
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Project Management and Methodologies, Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience managing large scale initiatives and initiative programs
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Experience driving and leading organizational change in a dynamic environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of strategic planning and execution, including plan development, budget management, team management, requirements gathering, delivery and deployment
  • Experience in challenging the status quo, navigating difficult conversations, and communicating at all levels of the organization
  • Experience driving business priorities while managing risk and compliance
  • Experience requiring strong relationship-building skills with ability to engage and influence communications towards achieving common business goals
  • Ability to motivate a team and lead strategic initiatives, collaborating across a large organization and multi-tasking as required
  • Experience in an Agile delivery environment
  • Experience with HR systems and tools such as Workday or similar, and tools such as Jira, Jira Align, Clarity, Registry and Confluence
  • Participation in an industry group or organization that aligns with Wells Fargo's support of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
