Missouri Dental Specialists is looking for a driven candidate to join our clinical team as a dental assistant. We are a fast paced office seeking a highly motivated individual who will do more than just fill a position. This person should have incredible customer service skills and be able to multitask. This person must also have a friendly disposition, self-motivated, and driven to become part of a team devoted to a successful practice. We are looking for someone that is flexible, engaging, able to problem solve, and apply critical thinking. We are a rapidly evolving and growing practice, requiring that individuals are adaptable to change as changes are made. Along with assisting, this person needs the ability to build relationships with the team members, patients, and other offices.

This job does require schedule flexibility as we are dedicated to patient care and sometimes provide emergency care outside of our 7am-5pm scheduling.

While the primarily location of employment for this position, is Jefferson City, the doctor and staff does currently travel to our Rolla location 2 days a week.

It is preferred but not required that the candidate have previous dental experience. The ideal candidate would have approximately 1-3+ years experience performing all aspects of assisting, including but not limited to chair side assisting, sterilizing instruments, radiographs, CBCT scans, and tracking inventory. This position may also include cross training of administrative tasks such as answering the phone, verifying insurance, etc.
