Dental Front Office/Insurance and Treatment Coordinator
Job description

Also candidates should be capable of thinking ahead to anticipate needs. Candidates must have excellent customer service skills, scheduling, sales, and phone experience. They must be adaptable/trainable, maintain a positive attitude, and have an excellent work ethic. This position requires the team members to be dependable, intelligent and detail oriented. Experience previously working in the dental field and knowledge working with Dentrix software is required. Position responsibilities include: Sorting the mail and preparing daily deposits. Entering all EOB's in patients ledgers and document centers. Sending pre-auths and appeals in a timely manner. Accurately maintaining and updating all insurance fee schedules. Ensuring all paper work is submitted on time for re-credentialing. Billing and making sure all Patients Ledgers are correct with correct fees and insurance payments. Making sure notes are placed in patients appointments, family file and ledgers for any communication, payments and balances. Entering/Submitting all insurance claims accurately with weekly follow ups and reports. Holding and overseeing all morning huddles to plan out each days treatment and goals. Actively keeping the schedule booked for high production and making sure patients don't fall through the cracks. Make sure all patients pay their correct patient portion before treatment is rendered. This position requires excellent customer service and helping patients feel welcome and cared for. This includes greeting patients and checking them in and out and providing post op care calls. All patient paper work must be evaluated and entered accurately into the patients family file and document center. The entire office must remain clean/sterile and organized. This requires the candidates to perform regular scheduled walkthroughs and clean/stock as needed as well as additional front office responsibilities as needed.
