Deputy Director of Planning and Community Development Position

Juniata County Government has an opening for a “Deputy Director of Planning and Community Development.” This position is classified as full-time, FLSA exempt, and non-union. Salary range is $32,000 to $35,200 depending on qualifications and experience. A generous benefit package is included.

• Qualifications: Associate Degree in Public Administration, community planning, or related technical field, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required skills and abilities. Three to four years working experience in planning or related technical field. A successful candidate must possess a Pennsylvania Criminal History Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance less than one (1) year old.
• Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the Director of Planning and Community Development in administering the County's planning and community development program in accordance with applicable federal, state and county policies, procedures and regulations.
