As a Tooling Designer You Will:
Develop and execute designs for existing and new manufacturing lines, processes, and plants.
Generate manufacturing equipment, that facilitates the high-volumemachining operations.
Attend manufacturing equipment and tooling design reviews with internal design and project teams.
Collaborate with product development teams and utilizedesign for manufacturing expertise to guarantee all elements of safety, quality, and performance are achieved.
Work with cross functional teams to design complete automated system solutions that maximize cost & capital investment.
Optimize processes for digital manufacturing design & simulations.
Enable precision robotic equipment and tolling in the automation of manufacturing production lines.
Manage the tooling design that allows the transition from conveyortechnology to automated robotic assembly/manufacturing.

Schedule:
We offer the flexibility of a core hour work schedule. Employees can flex their start and stop times provided they are working during the core hours of 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Our teams work together to guarantee their chosen work schedules are supportive of our customers.
Required Education, Experience & Skills:
- Associate's Degree in Mechanical/ Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or Industrial Engineering. Relevant experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
- Two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing engineering atmosphere.
- Good analytical, and problem-solving skills and displayed capacity to apply creative thinking to solve complex problems.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships in a team environment focusing on win-win solutions.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced engineering environment
- Has a strong mechanical background & experience with mechanical systems
- Experience with 3D CAD software (examples: NX, Creo, CATIA, SolidWorks)
- Experience and working knowledge of PC applications and Microsoft Office Products
Preferred Education, Experience & Skills:
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing tooling/fixturing design
- Experience in machine & manufacturing design
- Experience in designing automation systems
- Two (2) years using NX Modeling software
- Experience working with Teamcenter PLM software
- Basic knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
- Experience with the design & manufacture of high-speed rotating products
