Prosys Innovative Packaging Equipment is seeking an experienced Engineering professional for the mechanical design of filling and packaging equipment. This position will be based in Webb City, Missouri. We are a leading manufacturer of liquid filling systems and turnkey packaging lines serving markets in North America as well as International markets.

Position:* Machine Designer*
Type of Position:* Full Time*

• *Responsibilities:

• Work with engineers and project managers to design equipment that considers all aspects of a products functionality, safety, visual appeal, accessibility and affordability.
• Coordinate job details with engineer and project manager
• Specify third party equipment and design interface with our equipment
• Create container drawings and equipment layout drawings for customer approval
• Work with detailer to provide required information for detailed drawings
• Support Engineer and Project Manager when project is on production floor.
• Create detailed drawings of parts and assemblies
• Create / maintain component bill of material documentation
• Create Engineering Work Orders (EWO’s) and Inventory/Production Change orders (IPC’s)
• Follow company CAD best practices for drawing creation, file management and revision control

Required Skills:

• Strong working knowledge of 3D computer aided design (CAD) software, Solid Edge a plus
• Advanced design skills with excellent problem solving abilities
• Focused and creative thinker with Impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to stay organized, prioritize and manage your time
• Effective oral and written communication
• Willingness to work additional hours in order to meet job requirements
• Proficient in MS Office – Word, Outlook and Excel

Experience:

• Experience is preferred

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in design engineering, engineering, product design or relevant field

Compensation:

• Salary Position – Starting pay will be commensurate with experience and skillsets.
