Sacramento Post-Acute, is a 5-Star 94-bed skilled nursing and sub-acute care facility. Services we provide include trach care and ventilator management (sub-acute wing), wound care, short-term rehabilitation, and daily living care for long-term patients. We have a nurse practitioner, 24/7 respiratory therapists, F/T Ward Clerk for orders, Therapy MD and 2 F/T treatment nurses to support you. We also have 3 Nurse Schools and 3 CNA schools that perform their clinical rotations at our facility.

We have an opening for a Desk Nurse Supervisor on the PM Shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm in our Skilled and/or Subacute Unit. The hours can be flexible.

Responsibilities include managing patient admissions, discharges, supporting cart nurses, and coordinating patient transfers to the hospital.

Must have a minimum 1-year experience in a SNF setting, preferably as a desk nurse.

You will be supported by a Ward Clerk that inputs orders, 24/7 respiratory therapists, transportation clerk, MD /NP, 2 treatment nurses, DON, ADON and other clinical managers. Training is offered for this position. This is an excellent opportunity for you to gain the subacute experience that hospitals like to see as part of your work history.
