Position: Auto Detailer & Service Specialist

Location: Duck & Corolla, NC
Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Fleet Manager & General Manager
Auto Detailer & Service Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Auto Detailer & Porter to clean, maintain and possibly perform minor machinery and LSV vehicles (street legal golf carts) repairs. You will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and detail of both machines and vehicles. This position would also be responsible for assisting with golf cart loading and unloading on/off trucks and trailers when needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Detail and Cleaning of street legal golf carts and machinery
- Clean and apply paint/lubricants to machinery components when/if needed
- Replenish fluids and components such as gasoline
- Be able to make minor repairs such as replacing a rearview mirror
- Keep a clean shop at all times
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are properly filled and stocked
- Weekly washing of all cleaning towels and rags via washing and drying machines
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks and trailers
- Assist in the preparation and staging of future truck loads
- Follow and abide by Safety Regulations and Guidelines
- Maintain shop and work bench area cleanliness

QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work 8:30AM-5:30PM Friday, Saturday, Sunday (Possibly Thursday, Monday)
- Working knowledge of iPads
- Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record Required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to lift, carry, and place supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting.
- Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time
- Climb up and down ladders to retrieve and stock merchandise
- Communicate effectively in person, by telephone, or by using telecommunications equipment
- Enters and locates information on computer
- Visually verifies information, often in small print
- Safely operates motor vehicles

Schedule
Friday, Saturday Sunday 8:30AM – 5:30PM (Possibly Thursday, Monday). Weekend availability is required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
