JARCO READY MIX is seeking an Experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team! If you have a minimum of 3 years, great hydraulic experience and a great attitude, Apply Today!

Responsibilities:

• Repair Ready Mix Concrete Trucks, Block Trucks, Heavy Equipment and other motor vehicles as needed.
• Perform routine vehicle/equipment maintenance
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle/equipment components
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle/equipment to the company operations
• Provide daily written reports of services/repairs performed
• Comply with safety regulations, maintain work area safe, clean and orderly work areas.
• Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repairs ReadyMix Trucks air conditioning systems.
• Develop reports in keeping with company reporting guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years experience as a truck mechanic; ASE certifications preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of specialized tooling and shop equipment. Some welding experience.
• Working knowledge of vehicle hydraulics, electrical systems, engine, transmission, drive axles and brakes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Self-starter able to work with others or by themselves.
• Be able to complete tasks within specific deadlines and be detail-oriented.
• Experience in the repair & troubleshooting of automotive air conditioning equipment.
• Communication skills to effectively communicate with others.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Maintains a Quality Board (EPA)-approved R-12/R134a certification for recycling/recovery.
• Technician and/or Mechanical License Automotive.
