JOB SUMMARY

Provides a full range of professional, technical, and general support to South Atlantic Bank customers and Bank personnel related to Internet & Mobile Banking, Cash Management and Remote Deposit Capture services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Assisting branch and internal department employees with the proper guidance and interpretation of bank policies and procedures via telephone, and email. Completes research and follow up in a timely manner to ensure issues are resolved properly and timely. Assist with the distribution and implementation of new or changing procedures related to bank policy and procedure.
  • Balance debit card transactions daily, post appropriate entries to the general ledger and internal checking accounts. Ensure all accounts are in balance daily and any out of balance situations are researched, documented, and resolved timely. Post MasterCard Interchange Income daily.
  • Enters all debit cards information (new, replacement, and maintenance) into the system after reviewing documentation for accuracy. Ensure card file transmissions to Shoreline via Jack Henry are received and processed timely. Review monthly billing from Shoreline for card orders are accurate and match the number of cards produced.
  • Ensure all reported Lost/Stolen debit cards are blocked as required and replacement cards are issued. Maintain documentation to support all Lost/Stolen Card reports.
  • Ensure all Reg E claims are worked as required by Regulation E, including logs, documentation, credit provisions, and record retention.
  • Review monthly expiring card files. Ensure replacement cards are ordered as needed and received timely by South Atlantic Bank customers.
  • Process and track compromised card files received from MasterCard ensure cards are blocked and replaced accordingly. Tracking includes follow up of account compromise reimbursement notification published by MasterCard to ensure reimbursement is applied for when available.
  • Complete monthly and quarterly transaction and compliance reports as required by MasterCard.
  • Manager card inventory for Shoreline and SAB Instant Issue programs including monthly recon and plastic balancing.
  • Review, log, and complete required follow up for Fraud Alerts, including communication with the branches and blocking and reissuing of cards reported with fraudulent transactions.
  • Receive, log, and process travel notices in CPS portal for MasterCard.
  • Work Hourly Recap report of Hot and Warm carded cards to ensure timely replacement for fraud and removal of blocks when needed.
  • Work Hourly New Card report for Instant Issue Cards.
  • Complete verification and authentication for debit cards added in Apple Pay. Review reports and suspects in MasterCard Connect. Complete required daily notification letter mailing to the customer for new device enrollments for Apple Pay. Complete deletion of cards on devices reported lost or stolen in MasterCard Connect.
  • Responsible for compliance within assigned areas of responsibility
  • Balance and settle ATMs daily. Ensure the ATM vault has adequate funds to cover replenishment.
  • Other duties as requested


QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in retail banking, deposit operations or branch administration strongly preferred
  • Well-developed communication skills and the ability to speak effectively with customers in person and on the phone
  • Exemplary customer services skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents as well as write routine reports and correspondence
  • Professionalism in dress and communication
  • Proficiency with PC including Microsoft Office products and office equipment
  • Familiarity and comfort with banking systems, preferably Jack Henry
  • Ability to reconcile and calculate figures such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages
