Reporting to the Digital Content Manager, this position serves as a member of the Global Marketing and Communications(GMC) digital team to create, curate and edit webpages and other digital content to support the University's enrollment and advancement goals. This position works with University faculty and staff to write and produce clear, concise and attractive content, within the requested deadline. The digital content writer/editor uses their knowledge of web technologies, trends and analytics to help maintain the University's analytics accounts, and provides reports and consultation, when requested, to inform the web team strategy.

Minimum Qualifications
One to three years of professional experience writing and producing content primarily for web deployment. Proficient in AP style writing.
Bachelors degree in communications, marketing, information technology or related
One to three years of experience with interactive marketing, communications and/or information technology, including a solid understanding of search engine optimization and search engine marketing.
Strong website writing skills and multimedia production skills with a portfolio of examples that demonstrate communications success.
Ability to successfully communicate technology concepts to colleagues with varied knowledge and experience in OmniUpdate CMS or other related content management.
Skilled at Photoshop and other multimedia.
Ability to proactively identify opportunities to improve website and digital marketing efforts through the use of new technology.
Strong project management Ability to multitask with strong time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
More than three years of professional experience writing and producing multimedia content primarily for web deployment.
More than three years of experience with interactive marketing, communications and/or information technology including a solid understanding of search engine optimization and search engine
Experience in OmniUpdate
Previous experience in higher education marketing.
