About This Role:
The Carl R. Ice College of Engineering seeks a Digital Media Specialist who will be responsible for developing and distributing digital and promotional materials in an effort to market the college to prospective students and other external stakeholders. These materials include but are not limited to video, online and social media marketing that promote and advance college products, programs and projects. This position serves as a video producer, videographer and video editor in a variety of marketing, promotional and informative videos for the college, and manages media assets and archiving. As part of the Engineering Communications and Marketing team, this position also collaborates with others in the college and university to achieve brand consistency, coordination of messages and the highest standards for external communications.

What You'll Need to Succeed: Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor's degree. This position may use an educational equivalency as determined relevant by a hiring manager.

Preferred Qualifications:
Two years experience in video production (can include education)
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects, Photoshop)
Experience with camera, lighting and audio equipment
Exposure to proofing, editing and design of marketing materials
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
An interest in social media marketing
Basic computer skills with word processing and spreadsheets
Excellent aesthetic judgment
