Position Overview:
The Novelis Digital team is seeking a Digital Solutions Lead, Plant Maintenance (equipment reliability). The person in this role will report to the Digital Solutions Senior Manager, and will be responsible for the delivery of quantifiable business value to reliability and sustainability in our manufacturing facilities, including Environmental Health and Safety (EHS). This individual will have experience working within manufacturing reliability and owns and facilitates the intake and prioritization process for digital & data solutions, such as determining solutions for tracking and alerting MRO needs to those in the plants to ensure the machinery remains operational and running smoothly.
Responsibilities & Qualifications:This position will ensure cohesive processes across manufacturing equipment reliability and digital & data solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Understand strategic objectives and co-ideates with manufacturing, equipment maintenance and reliability or functioning equipment, and our digital solutions team to determine how digital and data solutions could advance objectives. (i.e. KPI's, dashboard tracking with data visualization applications such as PowerBI or Tableau.)

• Intake and catalog digital and data demands by supporting business case development and prioritize requests in collaboration with the function and IT Business Relationship Managers (BRMs).
• Design the user experience by working with Reliability and EHS owners to ensure the end data or digital solution meets requirements,
• Advise on the process and/or management routine change impacts based on solution design.
• Support development by owning the communications between the functional owners and technical data/digital delivery teams.
• Ensure value creation by maintaining communications with users and monitoring value realized.
• Additional responsibilities, as needed, such as collaborating cross-functionally with digital solutions that cross over with Digital Solutions Leads focused on Operations or Procurement.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• 7 years of business process knowledge in Reliability, Sustainability, or Environmental Health & Safety related to manufacturing automation or shopfloor systems.
• Knowledge of work order management, downtime recording, operations, and machine and equipment management in MES systems.
• Knowledge of reliability KPIs.
• Experience data analytics on EHS; PowerBI or a similar tool is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ERP knowledge, for example SAP or Oracle
• MES or Shopfloor system knowledge in the areas of plant maintenance, reliability and EHS.
• Experience with PowerBI data visualization or similar.
