Brown & Brown is seeking applicants for a Direct Bill Accounting Clerk role!
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Record and reconcile insurance carrier commission statements for computer entry by compiling and sorting information, establishing entry priorities.
- Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures and working with the team leader for resolution.
- Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard.
- Prepares journal entries as needed
- Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
- Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, and reentering data.
- Maintains operations by following policies and procedures.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Proficient know in Microsoft Office environment, including but not limited to Excel, Teams, Word and Nitro Pro.
- Excellent organizational skills
- High level of accuracy and efficiency
- Results driven mindset
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
- Self-starter who is comfortable working independently
- Good written and verbal skills
- Analytical, problem-solving mindset

Target Pay
$17.00 USD Hourly
Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.
