Job description

Responsible for providing care to individuals with intellectual disabilities/autism who reside in a group home. Assist the individuals with activities of daily living, i.e. meal preparation, administration of medication, bathing/showering assistance, house cleaning. Transportation to community activities, day habilitation sites, and medical appointments is required. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently. You must be physically able to perform restraints and CPR. Lifting is required for this position. Skills: Must be able to read and write. Must be comfortable using a computer. A driver's license is required and good driving record a must. A criminal background screening done prior to interview. Interviews are currently being scheduled. Previous group home experience a plus. Must be dependable. Must be able to work overnight to apply for this position. This position is for an AWAKE overnight staff, this is not a sleeping position. Night shift begins at 10pm and ends between 7:30am-8:30am; days are Friday through Monday. The shift is firm.

Group homes are located in Fort Bend County. Must be available to start training immediately. You must be able to pass a background check through Texas Department of Public Safety. A Driver's License is required. We do check Texas DPS driving records.
