JOB SUMMARY: The Bright Changes Direct Service Professional provides skills building and social engagement services to youth who are enrolled in Clubhouse programming in an effort to improve outcomes for youth. Seeking to contribute to the success of the Clubhouse program, as well as the agency as a whole, the Direct Service Professional successfully carries out daily tasks including completing group skills documentation, communication with parents and community partners, monitoring of program participants’ progress and facilitation skills groups and serves as transport to and from local outings.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide transportation to and from the program for the participating youth
  • Prepare group activities and provide supervision during activities
  • Teach clients skills to improve day-to day function and overall well-being i.e. Facilitates life skills groups, including coping skills, communication, social engagement and interpersonal skills
  • Performs light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning the program group room and inspection of facilities in accordance with environment of care regulations.


  • Education – High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Experience – Minimum one (1) year providing social or direct care services to individuals in a human services setting
  • Other – Criminal background check clearance, official academic transcripts, valid driver’s license/ID, drug screen, TB test, eligible 7yr MVR. (must have 3 years of driving experience and be at least 21 years old)
