Advocates is seeking a Mentor (DSP/1:1 support staff) to support an independent woman with a developmental disability. She is looking for a Mentor to assist her with working on her goals in her community. In this critical role, you will assist her in running errands and participating in activities of her choice. You will also support her to build on her social skills. The ideal candidate will have effective communication and leadership skills, patience, and strong organizational skills.

Seeking someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, creative, and active. Related experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred but not required. Please respond with resume or summary of experience.

Candidate must possess a keen sense of attention to detail, especially when electronically logging each day's time, mileage, and service documentation. Internet access and a valid email address are required.

Hours and days of work

Wednesday OR Thursday (11 AM - 4 PM)

Additional opportunities to work with other individuals within the agency may be available.

Pay rate: $17.50 per hour

Location: Baldwinsville, NY
