THE OPPORTUNITY:

This position is responsible for proofing and sending artwork to our imaging and exposure room, to be printed on our Direct-to-Screen (DTS) printing units.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4p

Essential Job Functions | Coordinate + Proof + Verify + Record

• Perform DTS liaison responsibilities proficiently and maintain standards, including sending designs to production by way of proofing orders or sending to DTS printing units
• Verify the namedrop and ink information on artwork matches customer's order
• Proof namedrops for spelling accuracy
• Verify garment colors chosen are compatible with the ink colors of the design ordered
• Verify garment styles ordered are compatible with the design ordered
• Proof art separations to ensure necessary production information is provided
• Proof art separations for errors in art set up
• Records art errors to aid in identifying root cause
• Work closely with artists and SVS burnroom staff to field questions and concerns

• Create new name drops on existing designs for incoming orders and samples as needed
• Prepare separations for screen printing of orders and samples as needed
• Follow Zion direction of screen print orders to prioritize workload as needed
• File stock and custom screen print art as needed
• Produce color comps of existing art for customers and reps as needed

• Work on screenprint production floor as unloader, as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• High school education is required
• Screenprint production experience and art background preferred
• Ability to multi-task
• High attention to detail
• Independent decision making skills with reason and good judgment
• Ability to work well in a team
• Excellent spelling skills
• Ability to focus on routine tasks for long periods of time
• Must be reliable, responsible, flexible and take direction well
• Must be able to handle multiple interruptions and follow through
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

• Experience working with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop preferred but not required
