This Director position will work directly for the SVP, Product & Technology at Blink Fitness. This
individual will bring both large company leadership and startup mentality experience with
demonstrated competency in both. S/he should have worked extensively in agile product
organizations with demonstrated success directing and motivating remote teams and delivering
large scale digital programs. Although based in the US, this role will interface with offshore
development teams in South America, India, and Asia. Ecommerce, wellness/fitness, and
subscription/membership experience strongly preferred.


Our desired candidate will be a digital business leader with experience building digital products
across app, web, and kiosk from conception to delivery, drive a customer centric approach and tie
delivery to superior business results. S/he will lead three direct reports and work with teams of
contractors in multiple geographies and oversee product, user experience, data, and digital
technology efforts to deliver strong outcomes. S/he will bring deep understanding of ecommerce
user behavior and user experience design best practices.


Responsibilities:
  • Manage and mentor three product managers responsible for the app, web, and kiosk
applications
  • Design, implement and support best in class applications
  • Author roadmaps, epics, user stories and use cases, functional and nonfunctional
requirements, definition of done, and acceptance criteria to clearly define and communicate
new services and features.
  • Act as the voice of the user by building deep customer understanding via meetings, surveys,
analytics, beta testing, and usability research with the results summarized in personas that
connects customer needs to our solutions
  • Analyze the market to assess and prioritize the new product opportunity through a business
case analysis lens
  • Lead agile cross-functional teams to bring new features and functionality to Blink’s digital
applications
  • Develop digital solutions that put our customers at the center of everything we do and
re-imagine their experience with fitness/wellness companies
  • Influence decisions on marketing strategy, platforms, and customer engagement
  • Development of compelling customer journeys and superior experiences in partnership with
Blink’s development & infrastructure teams and a set of strategic third-party vendors

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; engineering, quantitative, computer science or related discipline
preferred
  • 5+ years of professional experience building digital products across mobile, web, and
desktop from conception to delivery
  • Implemented products from ideation to implementation
  • Experience with operationalizing data into digital experiences
  • Experience in writing clear and concise user stories for both business and technical needs
  • Agile certification and Product management certification preferred
  • Ability to drive the ideation, design and delivery of digital solutions in close collaboration with
a range of partners including business owners, technology, operations, legal & compliance,
marketing, and senior leadership
  • Experience in what it takes to build a scalable digital platform leveraging existing digital
assets and creating new ones that can be used across multiple distribution channels
(mobile, web, desktop, API)
  • Experience in researching, analyzing and organizing customer needs and corresponding
journeys; bridge the technical and business worlds ensuring we are building the right
products with a combination of vision, market/user/competitor research and usage metrics
  • Experience in the Digital Product Management discipline doing business analysis,
market/user research; as well as owning the digital roadmap
  • Outstanding record in designing innovative and data driven products, leveraging competitive
trends, new technologies, human centered design and an agile development methodology.
  • Comfortable working with scrum teams / Agile release trains with different disciplines
  • Strong customer focus and should be able to collaborate with users and customers to
understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.
  • Experience in managing top of the marketing funnel (online customer acquisition), Google/
Adobe analytics tools, Marketing Automation solutions, A/B testing tools, etc. will be strongly
preferred
  • Experience with WCAG and/or ADA design and compliance preferred

Pay Transparency: Min $160,000 - Max $180,000 + bonus
