Job Type: Full time salaried, exempt position

Hours of Work: Mon – Fri onsite with occasional evenings/weekends

Pay Range: $54,000 to $56,000 plus benefits

Position Summary: The Director of Exhibits will lead a department that provides guests with safe, fun, engaging, and educational exhibits that further the Museum’s strategic plan, mission, and vision. This position will manage staff and resources to create new and exciting exhibits, maintain existing ones, and deliver an exhibit rental program across the country. This role will lead a team of five exhibit professionals and collaborate with all teams across the Museum.

Oversee 25,000+ sq. ft. of permanent exhibits for Nebraska’s most visited museum

Collaborate on the development of two or more new special exhibits per year

Manage the installation of two recurring holiday exhibits per year

Responsible for the exhibit rental program with a catalog of five exciting offerings
