Additionally, we offer a full-service salon, state of the art health/fitness club and expansive event space with in-house catering options.
Touchmark is seeking a General Manager of Restaurants and Outlets/Director of Food and Beverage to join the team of this upscale luxury community in Edmond. This team member will have the overall responsibility for the efficient and effective running of the kitchen and food production outlets, ensuring operating costs are minimized.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Have full oversight of the Pub and Bistro as well as our Restaurant including kitchen, dining rooms, and front of house staff to ensure the level of service and hospitality that meets Touchmark’s Gold Standards.
- Directly manage front of house as well as Manages and partners with Executive Sous Chef to Control and direct the food preparation process and any other related activities.
- Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings.
- Verifying consistency and accuracy in all dishes before they reach the customer.
- Promotes an atmosphere of “Friendliness and Cleanliness”. And create new ideas in the marketplace to attract guests.
- A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent; hospitality education desired;
- Certificate or degree in culinary arts or related field preferred.
- Minimum of three years of progressive experience in a similar environment; demonstrated success in running a profitable kitchen and demonstrated success in managing and motivating a team of employees.
- Proven experience in a hospitality leadership role, preferably restaurant, country club, or hotel
- Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
- Ability to work varied schedules in response to business needs
- Valid food handler certification, as required by state; Training and certification in wine, liquor, and beer sales, as required by the state.
- Above-average computer skills and the willingness to participate in on-going training and education.
