Summary

Join our family of professionals at Broadview Multi-Care Center, a skilled nursing facility conveniently located on Broadview Road and offering multiple clinical specialties.

The primary purpose of the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry Services is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility. The position may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that our facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner, and that an adequate supply of laundry/linen is on hand at all times to meet the needs of the residents.

Experience

Must have, as a minimum, 3 years experience in a supervisory / management capacity.

Experience in healthcare long term care environment preferred.

Must be familiar with care of various types of floors, with cleaning materials, etc., and with cleaning and general housekeeping/laundry methods and equipment.

Training in environmental control practices and procedures preferred, but not required.

Must have general understanding of OSHA and life safety regulations

Educational Requirements

Must possess, as a minimum, a High School education or its equivalent
